Thanksgiving 2013

We hosted Thanksgiving this year with the wonderful Hunting/Veteto Family.
Claire dressed up as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader to support my Papa's love for football and Texas!
She was the cutest cheerleader I have ever seen.
We loved having family over to celebrate everything we are Thankful for!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Jammies & Dirt

In the final days of warm weather Claire would not allow me to stay inside.
As much as I wanted us to stay in our pajamas and watch movies all day she would not let me.
So, we stayed in our pajamas and walked to the park!
I'm good at compromising.

Here Comes Santa Claus

We visited SANTA!!!
I know, I know, it's November.
But we were at the riverwoods and there was no line for Santa.
{Probably because it's still November}
He looked lonely.
The line is normally an hour long!

Last year Claire slept through meeting Santa.
This year she was wide awake.
At first she loved him and thought he was so interesting, but then she didn't love him anymore and wanted nothing to do with him.
Luckily, we took the pictures before the unfortunate turn of events.

Vegas Week.

Claire has only peed on one person since she was born.
My Mom.
This has happened not once, but twice.
Claire has never peed on me.
It's now a hilarious joke in our family.
We went to Vegas to help my Mom get ready for her new move.
While packing up the house my Grandparents found these pictures of me when I was a little younger than Claire is now.  I see a resemblance.
Claire looks so old in this picture.
In the last week I feel like she has grown up so much.
Time is flying by!!

Vegas was fun as always.
It's always great to go back and spend time with my Mom.
We enjoyed eating out, playing at the park, reminiscing through my old high school box, watching Claire and Mocha fall in love, shopping, & relaxing!
Best week!

Waterfalls on Sunday

Sunday is my favorite day of the week.
Josh never works on Sundays so we always get to spend it as a family.
A few weeks ago we took advantage of the final fall days & went for a walk up at Bridal Veil Falls.
We had a dinner picnic and watched Claire play in the leaves.
It was a perfect fall night.

Trick or Treat

On Halloween day we had a cookie making/decorating play date with Jade and Paige.
Claire is only 1 but you better believe she loves being around her friends!
The girls weren't very interested in decorating the cookies, but they sure knew how to eat them.
Our favorite neighbors saw that we were having lots of fun and stopped by to help us decorate!
It was the perfect way to celebrate my favorite Holiday!

Later that night Claire Bear went Trick-or-Treating for the first time!!

When we got home after trick or treating Claire loved answering the door for the kids.
The doorbell would ring and she would get so excited and run to the bowl of candy and clap her hands.
If I tried to give the children candy she would get mad so she ended up passing it out.
The poor children were so patient waiting for her to put the candy in their bags.
It was adorable.
As we snacked on a mini snickers bar I remembered why I love this holiday so much.
Children, no matter what age, LOVE IT!
& that just makes it all so much fun!

The next morning Claire wouldn't eat breakfast.
She just kept pointing at her pumpkin full of candy.
I thought about hiding it, but then I decided Halloween only comes once a year.
So Claire ate a sucker for breakfast and we called it a day.
The meltdown that took place when the sucker was gone was unfortunate.
I may have hid the pumpkin after that.

Halloween Party!

This year we were bakers who baked ourselves up one yummy cupcake!
The babies were all so adorable in their outfits and they had fun putting clothes on the skeleton.
The donut on a string game was hilarious.
The Hunting's were very bad at it.
Horrible quality photo, but all the ladies & their babes were so cute!

It was such a fun night!  The perfect way to get us into the Halloween spirit.
