I have an obsession..

And it's a problem!
One of my favorite shows is "Intervention" on A&E. Well if you have not seen it..it is about addictions and overcoming them. It is such an amazing show and I watch it every Monday! Well I find myself saying the same things as the drug addicts. "I just need it"/ "If I don't have it I get headaches"/"But I just like the way it tastes"/"I'm goin for the 54oz today"....So you get the idea. If you don't know or you haven't guessed yet...I AM ADDICTED TO DIET COKE!!!! I always thought it was okay because my Mom(Who is hot, skinny, and extremely health concious) would drink it every single day and every thing was fine. I would justify it because she did it. Well she is a trader and had a personal intervention and is now drinking tea. Sooo what is a girl to do?? I have succeeded in converting Josh and getting him addicted (Which I use to think was awesome because we would go on QT and Maverick trips together!) but now we have both realized it is an issue. I have to stop! My New Years Resolution is to cut back on the DC. I can't just stop cold turkey(another thing addicts say.) I plan on only drinking it when I am out to eat, girls days, vacations, and road trips. I will not make any special trips to the gas station during a regular day. I am vowing this today to the world!
The image you see below use to be me...no longer.
Here it goes..I am 1 hour sober.

Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt??

<span class= <span class=
What happens when you marry someone who doesn't like the same delicious dessert as you?
Well you go to two separate places.

<span class= <span class=
I have always been a frozen yogurt girl, but Josh has always been an ice cream guy so tonight we solved our problem. We went to both places. Yes I know it seems high maintenance but it is just the way we roll :)
I have to say my 'Peanut Butter Cup' frozen yogurt with snickers was seriously delish even though I probably gained five lbs...and Josh enjoyed his 'Peanut Butter Lovers' GOTTA HAVE IT(yes, he did get the biggest one...do i judge him?...yes. Do I love him for it?..DUH!!) from cold stone!
So the best way to solve an ice cream or frozen yogurt dilemma is to go to both places like us!

Flat Tires and Semi Trucks...

It was just a regular Thursday morning...I woke up, got ready, and headed off to work. About five minutes into the drive BAM...car is swerving and I begin to panic and slow to 45mph. Now I know you are never suppose to slam on the breaks on the freeway, but when all of a sudden your car is going out of control and you have a strong sense that a tire has blown out your immediate reaction is to stop. I made it over to the right side of the road but there was only enough room on the side for a car and....nothing else. If I had pulled over a foot more my car would have slid down the snow bank! I was one foot away from the line of the freeway and one foot away from a ditch full of icy snow. I called 911(Josh) and he was to my rescue within five minutes! He really is Prince Charming! I am pretty sure my heart was pounding outside of my chest watching my Husband change the tire while huge semi trucks would speed pass!! Every time an over sized truck would zoom by I would grab my head and yell "Joooooshh!!" Needless to say I was kinda freaking out! He kept his cool and handled his business(my business actually considering it was my car). In the end I was only thirty minutes late for work and everything was fine. When I got out of work Josh had replaced my special spare tire with a new non blown out tire! He is always there for me when I need him! I have no idea what I would do without him!
Poor Emmy is dying slowly!
It will be a sad day when she leaves me for good.
My special spare:)

Country Strong

I have always been a closet country fan. Josh use to make fun of me when he would turn the radio on a country station and I would know every word to every song. My girlfriends in high school would make fun of me too. I met Keith Urban on my 13th birthday at Best Buy and I was the girl that cried. We stood in line for 5 hours(my Mom is a good woman!) I have seen Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney(Kenny Chestnut as my Step Dad calls him), and Sugarland in concert. I hope to see Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood very soon!! But last night I like to think that I went to a concert..but it was just "Country Strong." I went with Lexie and we were obsessed with it! Okay well I was probably more obsessed than she was, but she was laughing at me being obsessed the whole movie! Every time they would start singing I would make a noise and touch my chest as if I were actually at the concerts. Now I do realize that they were not in fact "real" concerts and this was "just" a movie, but I was taking it very seriously! This is embarrassing for me to disclose, but I made a vow to myself to always be 100% honest when I write for our blog. Just watch this clip...you will understand my obsession. And if you don't...I will still be your friend...maybe.

New Favorite Song.
The End.

It's that time of year again...

Winter Time!!!
So I am a Vegas girl for life...but after having lived in Utah for 3 years I am finally getting use to these winter months! I no longer fool myself into thinking that it "won't snow as bad as last year..or the year before". Now I just understand that it is going to snow...hard! Josh helped me come to this realization(Springville native). So this year I have decided to embrace the weather! I plan to go sledding and tubing a couple times and I am now working at a preschool where we take the children outside everyday no matter what the weather is! I slip on ice daily and my teeth chatter every time I walk outside, but I am over it now and ready to enjoy this Winter and the beauty that comes with it!! K I have one complaint...scraping snow off my car(Picture above). But Josh is so kind and is now letting me have the covered parking spot! :) Cutie hubby!

Goodbye 2010...HELLO 2011!!

Christmas with the Huntings!
This year we spent Christmas in Orem with the Huntings and it was a blast!
We had a big Christmas Eve sleepover and everyone spent the night at our house. We ate chinese food(Hunting family tradition), played games, opened pj's, and watched fun movies! On Christmas day we opened presents from everyone and we were totally spoiled by both sides of our family! We are so grateful to have an amazing family! This was the first year I haven't been with my family on Christmas and I have to say it was a little bit hard for me, but luckily I have amazing in-laws :) I missed you family, but just know I am in good hands over here! I love you guys!
Presents :)

New Years
For New Years we went to dinner with some friends, played the most halarious games, drank diet coke in wine glasses, watched the ball drop, and danced! It was a fun way to ring in the New Year with good friends and I can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for us!
Happy New Year Everyone!!
