Christmas Craft!

The girls and I had a Christmas Craft night and made glitter trees. I found this craft on a blog and thought it would be super cute! Well I was right about the cute part, but I didn't take into account how messy this would be!! I had glitter all over my kitchen for days and days, but they really did turn out cute and we had fun doing it together! It was the perfect girls night before everyone leaves for the Christmas break! I love my girls!
See..very cute! :)

Is it really over?

I am officially no longer a college student! I spent a wonderful 3 1/2 years at UVU and now I am off to teach preschool starting January 3rd! If I hadn't came to Orem Utah and attended college I would have never met my Husband. I wouldn't have made all the amazing friends I have and I probably would still be looking for that one thing to make me feel complete (you know what i'm talkin' about people).
How I spent my years as a college student:
Thanks for the memories college:)
Time to move on....

Season's Greetings!!

I didn't get around to sending out a Christmas card this year so here is a digital one! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful month of December (I know we are)!! We love all of our friends and family and we are so grateful for everything you do!

Fa Fa FAIL!!

I finally got a SLOW COOKER!!!
I have never been more excited about anything! I have wanted one since we got married but it just never happened....until now! So last Sunday I decided I had to try it out! I woke up a little early before church and proceeded to cook this. Well I didn't have the chili pepper flakes, but I did have chili powder. I assumed it was the same thing so I put it in the slow cooker with the chicken and pineapple just as the recipe says. Well if you are experienced with actually being a wife/cooker then you obviously know that chili pepper flakes and chili powder are NOT the same thing AT ALL!! All day long I am just loving my life because I know dinner is cooking and I don't even have to do anything. At church I was giddy because I knew I had dinner preparing! I went home and enjoyed a lovely nap and woke up to the smell of baked pineapple. I went down stairs and prepared our plates for Sunday dinner. We proceed to eat...and then we proceed to freak out! I had to spit it out and Josh reached for my diet coke instantly. It was the grossest thing we have ever tasted. Even though it was the worst dinner I have made as a wife, Josh was so sweet about it. He still ate the chicken even though I begged him not to. He kept saying "Cando the chicken isn't that bad just eat it." But I couldn't bare the thought of putting it back in my mouth. So I heated up left over enchiladas and we ate those and watched Saving Private Ryan. I have learned my lesson for sure!!
The next night I redeemed myself by making this. It was delicious and I suggest trying it if you have a slow cooker! :) Oh the joys of being a newlywed!

Tis the Season!

Well it is that time of year again! Christmas music has been playing in my house non stop and I don't hate it one bit! This year I am so into the holidays! Josh and I didn't decorate or even get a tree last Christmas because we were leaving for Vegas and wouldn't be here to enjoy it. This year however we are having Christmas at our house and I have been so excited to decorate!

Our First Christmas Tree!
We went and bought a fake tree with built in lights(which is so amazing!)
I was so stoked to put on all my cute new stuff!
(Special thanks goes out to Josh for putting the hangers on all the ornaments!)

No fireplace..but our shelves are a great mantle!

This is an original creation by yours truly! :) I love doing crafts!
I am craving another if anyone is interested in doing this or this with me just let me know cause I will probably do them this week!

If you are looking for a new christmas cd..I just got the new Taylor Swift Christmas and it is one of my new favorites!!
Hope everyone has a fun and happy holiday!! :)

Happy Birthday...

The day started out with Josh taking me to see "Due Date!" We were the only ones in the theatre so we could laugh as loud as we wanted! It was so much fun! We had lunch together after the movie and then I had to go to work for a couple hours. When I got home Josh took me to a new pizza place called Malawi's Pizza! After pizza we had some friends over to celebrate with us! It was so great! I seriously have the sweetest friends in the entire world!! Not only did they invite all the people but they made me a wonderful ice cream cake, cupcakes, and gave me the most thoughtful gifts! I am so blessed to have such amazing people in my life! Thank you to all my friends and husband!
I get so embarrassed when people sing me Happy Birthday!!
Malawi's is very yummy!
I am so lucky!
The beautiful ladies that planned my party :)

When we were visiting Vegas for Thanksgiving my my family celebrated my birthday with me! My Mom spoiled me the ENTIRE trip!! Every time we would go out she would get me something and say "Happy Birthday!" Mom's are so great like that! She even got my hair done for me from my favorite stylist! Love you Mom! Special thanks to my Grandma and Papa for my gifts and to Grandma Sue 2! Thanks for celebrating my birthday with me everyone!! Love you!
